Passion springs from the Root of our Soul

Dear Beings of the New Dawn. As spring emerges, we can see ourselves reflected in the flowers that are starting to bud. The roots represent our potential and the creative energy that is stored in our souls. The flowers represent the creative expression of our potential.

What brings flowers into bloom is an inner passion to grow into their full essence. Their beauty comes from unfolding into the form that was stored, like a blueprint, within their seed. It is a wondrous process to behold, and a great metaphor from which to take inspiration. For if we trust that we, too, have an inner blueprint; a perfect form that is programmed into us from the time we came into human life as seeds of consciousness, then we, too, can unfold into similar bloom and splendor.

Finding our true passion and faithfully adhering to it activates this process and ensures that it leads to the most authentic and beautiful expression of us.

Passion, like other emotions, is an expression of the soul. Many scientists and western-minded people think of emotion as something caused by the body, specifically chemical reactions to stimuli in the environment, or in our experience. But the chemicals simply deliver the emotion. They are part of the process of producing bodily reactions that correspond to our emotions, but they are not the emotions themselves, or the cause of emotions.

Emotions are caused by our inner selves or our inner spirit's reaction to our environment, experiences and thoughts, beliefs and memories. If we can train ourselves to consider our passion as something transcendent that comes from the deepest part of ourselves, we can better align with the fundamental reasons that we chose to come to this earth-plane.

Beyond the details of daily life, as important as they are, we all have a more spiritual reason, or reasons, that we explore during the course of our lives. These experiences are the most important part of our education here on Earth. Our discovery of what they are and our alignment with them creates a passion for life.

We know we are on the right track when we are guided and inspired towards uplifting thoughts, emotions and actions. In other words, true and authentic inner passions are not mere preferences. They are our connection to something higher, which most often motivates us to think of others as much as ourselves.

We are part of a planetary family that is more than just humans. Animals have a wide range of emotions too. We simply cannot understand everything that they can feel. Subsequently, most humans consider animals beneath us. But they are simply consciousness expressed through a different mode of physicality.

Humans work on another mode of physicality. Neither animal nor human or tree forms can express all the emotion that a soul is capable of. Each filters and channels a certain emotional range. In that sense, each form is living in a different, overlapping reality on this earth plane.

Thus, during these spring months stay rooted in your highest form and reach for your passions that not only help you to grow and make you shine your brightest, but also reflect the shared beauty of every being on the planet, helping all come into perfect bloom.
