Arts Foundation of Cape Cod
Unveils the 2012/2013 Passport to the Arts
The 2012/2013 Passport to the Arts is now available, offering discounts at 55 Cape Cod theaters, museums, historical sites, performances and restaurants.
"The Passport to the Arts has always served as both a directory of the finest arts venues that the Cape has to offer and a tremendous value. Now that we have added restaurants, the Passport becomes essential to every Cape household with interest in the arts," says Arts Foundation Executive Director, Kevin Howard.
Now in its ninth year, the Passport to the Arts has evolved from a small group of eight organizations to its current roster of 48 cultural organizations, representing the very best of the arts and culture of Cape Cod, as well as discount offerings from several area restaurants.
The Passport is a beautifully designed, souvenir-quality booklet with information about each participating organization. Passport holders will be able to receive discounts on admission at participating venue during the course of the year. Each member venue sets its own restrictions and rules of use, so Passport holders must call venues in advance to ensure availability.
The Passport to the Arts, which is produced by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod (AFCC), is available for purchase online at www.artsfoundation.org. The Passports cost $20 each and will be valid through May 31, 2013. Passports are valid for use one time per venue only. Some limitations and black-out dates may apply. Call member venues for specific details.
The Passport will also be distributed by Chambers of Commerce all over the Cape, as well as the Boston and Plymouth area, reaching a market of thousands of visitors looking for cultural experiences on their trips to Cape Cod.
The AFCC supports, promotes, and celebrates the art, culture, and heritage of Cape Cod year-round.
