Welcome to the Summer issue of CapeWomenOnline, dedicated to the fabulous women who are making waves on Cape Cod.

Our sixth year anniversary of CWO gave us a great excuse to team up with local vendors for a Launch Party and book signing with author Katie O'Sullivan at The Little Beach Gallery, in Hyannis. This event captures the essence of our magazine – bringing Cape Women together to inspire, encourage, network and share their life's journey.

Katie O'Sullivan has retired as our editor to dedicate herself to her writing career and promoting her new book, Son of a Mermaid. She will continue writing her column The Write Way so keep your editorial questions coming!

We cannot thank Katie enough for her dedication and service to our magazine – we will miss working with her and wish her every success.

Your response to our new logo and design, and the inclusion of our Twitter and Facebook feeds was so encouraging. Your feedback led to these changes. We ARE listening to your comments and suggestions so keep writing to us – your letter may even appear on our Reader Letters page.

CapeWomenOnline is your venue to share your stories, poetry, artwork and photography. If you would like to become a contributor please visit our Submission Guidelines. Be sure to add your email to our FREE Subscription box (at the top of every page) to receive information about submission deadlines and upcoming events and classes.

Kick back, relax and enjoy the many voices of the women who made this issue possible. THANK YOU to our wonderful contributors for your wisdom, humor and inspiration.

Have a wonderful summer!
